"Margaret" Carroll and Kathryn "Simms" Garrison Sparks,
Margaret Simms is a new online marketplace for ladies celebrating timeless
styles and feminine, modern-day flair.
Mary Margaret and
Kathryn were raised in neighboring small towns in Alabama situated in the
Wiregrass. Their dads were met and became close friends at the University of Alabama
and remained friends after college. Growing up, their families attended UA
football games together nearly every weekend of each fall. Mary Margaret and
Kathryn both went on to attend UA where they pledged the same sorority during
their freshman years. Additionally, they developed mutual respect
for each other's work ethic and ideas while collaborating as leaders of student
organizations on campus. They realized then that they enjoyed working together
and that they made a good, smart team.
From as far
back as they can remember, Mary Margaret and Kathryn have enjoyed discussing
clothes and style. Though their tastes differ slightly, they find common ground
with their deep appreciation for clothing that is The Three C's: Classic,
Conservative, yet Contemporary. It is with those qualities in mind that they
have developed their vision and set the tone for Margaret Simms.
